About

I’m from Montreal, Canada and moved to LA in 2011. Strangely, I always told my mom and step dad that I would someday live in Los Angeles even when really young. I guess a child knows best. I can say that I’ve been working really hard for the past 15 years non-stop, I only took a 4 month break when I moved back to LA in 2015 (yeah, I said moved back! I’ll get into that later). I just love how working makes me feel accomplished. I studied fashion design in College, but then found myself a better fit in fashion sales (wholesale and retail) and management. The first 11 years of my career were dedicated exclusively to fashion. I represented a bad ass designer/fashion house called Rudsak for 8.5 years based out of Montreal which provided me with incredible opportunities and which shaped me as a professional and business woman. During the last 4 years, I decided to move differently as real estate opportunities came my way in 2015. With my boutique management background, I found myself really at ease behind a hotel’s front desk as “Front desk manager” for 1.5 year, then leasing came along for 1.5 year and then Property management for the past year which I am gaga for. I’m weird like that. I’ll elaborate in the blog as of why I made the career change. That’s it, I’m a manager. It took me a while to find what my passion was but life happened that it found me. My husband and I also founded a record label together called Ghettro Inc, home to incredible talented artists. How many of you wonder if you’re doing the right thing or if you’re even in the right career? That you studied in the right field? Wondering if you’re wasting your time? I’ll share some of my experiences in this blog and I hope that it can help a few of you as I felt the same way and sometimes still do as I want to be fully accomplished and fulfilled. Who doesn’t want to live their best life? Also, oh I forgot to mention that my dad managed hospitals for the most part of his career and here I am, same age as he was in his professional prime managing residential high rises in Los Angeles and a record label. I’m exactly like my father. All I want is for this blog to inspire as many people as possible to shake their routine and life up if need be to spice up their lives and to help them grow. I always strongly believed that the most uncomfortable you are, the faster you’ll grow. Sometimes, being comfortable is not always the best as being content doesn’t make you want to surpass yourself and the mind is not as creative. True freedom is on the other side of fear for real. Just throw the fear away and move forward.
